Project 2– Visual Poetry Book
Background
We advanced our exploration of Living Edge PVD by creating a Visual Poetry Book that seamlessly blends editorial and graphic design techniques to depict the site's human-wildlife interactions. This French fold book features typography with abstract illustrations on the outer pages and original poetry written during our observations on the inner folds.
We incorporated interactive NFC technology, allowing readers to tap their smartphones and access immersive sound and video content that enhances the poetic and visual storytelling. By integrating multimedia elements and innovative information design, this project showcases my ability to create dynamic, engaging narratives that highlight the harmonious balance between natural ecosystems and human activity at Living Edge PVD.
